Eileen Bradbury has produced Medico-Legal Reports on Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence since 1987 and receives approximately 150 new instructions a year and has court experience.
She has extensive clinical and research experience in the area of Health Psychology. She has worked with surgeons, physicians and other health professionals, and specialises in the psychological consequences of traumatic injury, disfigurement, scarring, cosmetic procedures, loss of limb, hand injury, chronic pain and obstetric injury. She has a national and international reputation in her field, and lectures overseas on a regular basis.
She is an experienced clinician with training in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, Construct Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness. Her approach is eclectic, responding to the needs of the individual client, and she recognises the importance of building an empathetic relationship with the client, working together with the client in the therapeutic process. She has developed specific therapeutic intervention for those whose bodies have been damaged by trauma or disease process, and for those born with congenital anomalies. She also treats those with a wide range of psychological problems including Eating Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety and Depression.
